The Naropa Fellowship has a rolling admissions process and is split into rounds. The Fellows will go through a series of evaluation process. Applicants are required to submit the completed application form online or send it via Post, which will be followed by an interview process, if the applicant is short-listed. Applicants will be evaluated for their sense of purpose and commitment towards working for the upliftment of Ladakh and other such remote Himalayan regions. They will also be assessed for their verbal, written and analytical skills, their attitude and aptitude to benefit from the unique learning experience at the Naropa Fellowship.

  • Sign up and complete the application form

  • Submit the application form and required documents online
  • Appear for an interview with the Naropa team

APPLICATION PROCESS VIA POST

  • Download and complete the application form

  • Mail the application form and documents to the address provided

  • Appear for an interview with Team Naropa
  • There is no application fee to apply to the programme.

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPLY FOR THE NAROPA FELLOWS ARE:

  • A recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.

  • A strong academic record and extra-curricular engagement.

  • A demonstrable sense of purpose, and commitment towards working for the upliftment of Ladakh and the Himalayan region.

The Fellowship will be open to students and working professionals from all fields, with a preference for those from Ladakh and the Himalayan regions across India, Nepal and Bhutan. Students/working professionals from elsewhere who exhibit a strong interest in ecological issues, cultural preservation, entrepreneurship, travel and tourism are also eligible. The Founding Class of the Naropa Fellowship will have 50 Fellows.
