On the first day of Entrepreneurship 101 at Naropa Fellowship, Apoorv tried to create a shared understanding of entrepreneurship and helped Fellows engage with key tools that would be utilised throughout the Entrepreneurship track. In the process of unlearning and re-imagining the personal/communal entrepreneurial journey, he helped the Fellows in understanding their own selves as potential Entrepreneurial leaders, strengthening their ideological capabilities and identifying shortcomings and potential downfalls in an organisational setting.
Mr.SrikantSastri is the co-founder of Crayon Data and Chairman of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park. He is the director at Foundation for Innovation & Research in Science and Tech (F.I.R.S.T) at IIT Kanpur and a member of NIDHI Centre of Excellence Monitoring Committee. He is also the creator of ChaloStartUp, a web series. At Naropa Fellowship, on the second day of Entrepreneurship 101, Using the form of story-telling and interactive exercises, Srikant provided a historical and cultural context to entrepreneurship in India how/why it should be a serious career consideration for Naropa Fellows. Discussing the barriers which prevent people from becoming entrepreneurs, he shared some entrepreneurial opportunities in Ladakh, Himalayan states, and North-East.
