On the 1st of March 2020, the Naropa Fellowship conducted an awareness workshop on the sensitisation of the issues and implications of workplace sexual harassment. The workshop was presided over by Ms.SunitaThawani, Founder & CEO of Full Circle. Sunita has more than 25 years of legal work experience and conducts statutorily mandatory workshops on awarness of sexual harassment for employees including senior management and orientation and skill building programme for Internal Committee members on Sexual Harassment for Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013.
She is recipient of the Woman of the Year National award 2017 for her extraordinary contribution in the area of changing the mindsets through her work on Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Women Leadership, Second career and Gender sensitization.
During her workshop at the Naropa Fellowship, Sunita combined her immense legal knowledge and deep interest in gender issues with practical experience and made the session highly interactive which helped the Naropa Fellows understand the issues and implications of workplace sexual harassment in a much better way.
