His Eminence Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche is one of the young prominent leaders in the Himalayas. Serving communities across his birthland of Ladakh in the Indian Himalayas, he also teaches and manages projects across greater Asia and Europe–particularly in France and the United Kingdom, where he gives talks regularly in both academic and spiritual settings. After graduating with a Master in Philosophy in 2012 from Tango Buddhist University in Bhutan, His Eminence served as the Deputy Chairperson and CoChair for three Annual Drukpa Councils (Pan-Himalayan conference).
HE Thuskey Rinpoche is currently the Chairperson of the award-winning Druk Padma Karpo School (Rancho's School) in Ladakh, a ground-breaking education project founded on green values and preserving indigenous culture. He also oversees the Live to Rescue Stray Animal Care and Management Center in Ladakh, Tree Planting Initiatives across the Himalayas, as well as the Druk Sangag Choeling Monastery in Darjeeling.
